This is a beautiful deck, the cards are made from strong metallic plastic and unlike any other Tarot cards I’ve seen. These gold foil cards have the Tarot meanings printed right on the cards, which makes them great for beginners just learning to read tarot. The beautiful gold foil is made of PVC, which is waterproof and very durable. Indestructible, you could even say.
This deck of 78 full size cards are packaged in a lovely foil gift box with a magnetic closure. They include a small paper guidebook, which includes the traditional meanings from the original RWS deck.
This deck is has the Tarot meanings printed right on the cards for easy reference.
The images on the cards are based on the Rider Waite Tarot. They’ve all been redrawn and recolored with beautifully detailed illustrations, like the one shown here for the 8 of swords. But remain very close to the original drawings, and their symbolism. It is one of the most beautiful Rider Waite decks I’ve seen.
While these cards are really neat, please be aware they do have a faint plasticy smell due to the PVC material they are made of - and to be honest I don't exactly love it. However, I have heard of this being remedied by cleansing the deck using incense or Palo Santo. Other than that, these are breathtaking and worth checking out if you want some cards that are a bit different and will last a lot longer than paper cards.
