The Guardian of the Night
The Guardian of the Night, is a 78 card tarot deck and guidebook by MJ Cullinane. A deck of Oversized cards featuring forest creatures. Big thick cards, you may have a hard time shuffling these if you have tiny hands. This is a really fun deck if you like animals as much as I do. These creatures can double as spirit guides, this one is sort of an Oracle deck as well as Tarot. A daily draw can offer a reassuring animal guide message for the day.
The cards embody the traditional RWS labels, but with animal archetypes instead of humans - Racoon as magician, Fox as Empress and Bat as the High Priestess. The art is beautifully dramatic, with attractive colors in a soft painterly, digital style.
